- Ingredients:
- 500 g mascarpone
- 3 eggs
- 100 g bitter chocolate (preferably with a high percentage of cocoa)
- 3 tsp sugar
- ladyfingers
- 1 double espresso
- optional: a shot of amaretto
- cocoa powder
Preparation:

Sliver the chocolate. Separate egg whites from egg yolks. Mix egg yolks with mascarpone and add sugar and chocolate. Beat egg whites until stiff.
Place a layer of ladyfingers into a pan. Dribble half of the espresso (mixed with amaretto if desired) over the ladyfingers. Spread half of the mascarpone and cover with another layer of ladyfingers. Dribble again with espresso and cover with the rest of the mascarpone. Sprinkle on cocoa powder and let stand in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
