- Ingredients per person:
- 32 green beans
- 4 slices smoked bacon
- butter
- salt
Preparation:

Green beans wrapped in bacon are a typical side dish for lamb or beef filets. This recipe calls for 4 bundles per person.
Cut off the ends of the beans. Bring salted water to a boil and blanch beans for ca. 10 minutes. Drain and immerse in cold water.
Wrap 8 beans in each slice of bacon. Melt butter in a pan and fry beans until the bacon is somewhat crispy.
Serve beans with meat and a potato side dish. I served them with lamb chops and mashed potatoes.
