- Ingredients for 2 people:
- 2 large tart apples
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 untreated orange
- 1 tbsp raisins
- 1 tbsp hazelnuts
- optional: 1 tbsp orange liqueur
Preparation:

Wash apples. Dry and remove the core with an apple corer. Place apples in a lightly greased fireproof casserole. Place a small aluminum foil form under each apple so that the filling does not leak onto the pan.

Coarsely chop hazelnuts. Heat honey at a low temperature until it becomes liquid. Grate a bit of orange rind and press out the juice.
Mix honey with raisins, chopped hazelnuts, grated orange rind, orange juice and liqueur and fill the apples.
Preheat oven to 180° C and place the casserole with apples on the bottom rack for 30-40 minutes until each apple is soft and the skin is slightly split open.

Enjoy the baked apple as is, or serve with whipped cream, vanilla sauce, or vanilla ice cream.
