- Ingredients:
- 1 jar cherries
- 300 g sugar
- 100 ml amaretto
- butter-vanilla flavour
- bitter almond flavour
Preparation:

Put cherries and sugar into a pot and heat slowly, until the sugar has completely dissolved.
Add amaretto and some vanilla and bitter almond flavour to taste.
Simmer for ca. 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
While still hot, pour the cherries into a preserving jar, seal, turn upside down, and let cool.
