Recipe - Poached Apples with Lingonberry (or Cranberry) Preserve
- Ingredients:
- apples
- lingonberry (or cranberry) preserve
- butter
Preparation:

Thoroughly wash apples, halve and core.
Melt some butter in a coated fry pan, keeping the temperature relatively low. The apples should be poached gently so that they stay juicy and firm.
First poach the apples for a few minutes with the skin side down. The pan should be covered.

Then turn apples over and poach for a few more minutes.
Remove apples from fry pan and garnish with lingonberry (or cranberry) preserve.
Poached apples with lingonberry (or cranberry) preserve goes well with wild game dishes.
