Recipe - Macadamia Cookies
- Ingredients:
- 200 g white chocolate
- 200 g macadamia nuts
- 1 vanilla bean
- 150 g butter
- 80 g sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- 200 g spelt flour
- 1 level tsp baking powder
Preparation:

Coarsely chop white chocolate and macadamia nuts. Scrape out vanilla seeds, mix with sugar and beat with butter until creamy.
Add salt, egg, and baking powder mixed with flour. Carefully fold in coarsely chopped white chocolate and nuts.
With a teaspoon drop small mounds of batter on a baking sheet and bake at ca. 180-220° C for 5 minutes. Let cookies cool down before yielding to temptation. They are still a little too soft and very hot!
Tip: Honey-covered macadamia nuts can also be used.
